sixth location

My sixth location is the Carney Island. The Carney Island is located in Antarctica. Antarctica does not have a capital city. The countries that border Antarctica are South America, Africa, and Austrailia.

The bodies of water that border Antarctica are the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean. The GPS coordinates of the Carney Island are 73°57 South, 121°00 West.

The climate of the Carney Island is very cold. The Carney Island in the Antarctica is the coldest place on Earth. Heavy snowfalls are very common. Snowfalls of up to (48 inches in 48 hours have been recorded. Strong winds that have the force of a storm are very common.

The Antarctic is 98% covered by ice. This ice is about one mile thick. The Carney Island has mountains and ice caps. The wind is always blowing and it is extremely cold.

The Carney Island was named after Admiral Robert B. Carney born in 1895 and he died in 1990. He was Chief of Naval Operations during the organization of Operation Deep Freeze.

The location of Carney Island is important because it is on the continent of Antarctica and that is where 4000 scientists from all over the world go each year to work on experiments and do research.

I got to my sixth location by helicoptor. It did not cost me anything to get their because I met a scientist that does research and experiments that can only be done on this continent. The scientist paid for the cost of the flight to get me there.

My trip around the world was very interesting. I learned about different people, animals, and got to eat different food. This was a very interesting vacation.

My family is very happy to have me back home, because they missed me and wanted to know how my trip was.

fifth location

My fifth location are the Virgin Island. It is located in the country of North America. The capital of North America is Washington D.C. The two countries that border North America are Canada and Mexico.

The bodies of water that border North America are the North Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Bering Sea, the arctic ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean.

The GPS coordinates for the Virgin Islands are: 18 20 degrees North, 64 50 degrees West.

The climate of the Virgin Islands is subtropical, easterly winds, low humidity, the temperature remains the same all year round. The rainy season is from September to November.

The Virgin Islands have white sandy beaches, marine life, secluded coves, and rainforests.

fourth location

My fourth location is the Falkland Islands. The Falkland Islands are in the country of South America. The capital of South America is Stanley.

There are two countries that border South America. These are Mexico and North America. The bodies of water that border South America are the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east.

The coordinates for the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) are 51° 45 South and 59° 55 West.
The climate of the Falkland Islands is cold marine climate with strong west winds, cloudy, and humid. It rains more than half of the days in one year. The average rainfall in one year is 24". There is occasional snow but it does not amount to anything. It does not snow in January and February.

It looks like an island with penguins and beautiful sites and ocean views.

In 1684, three British explorers, John Cook, William Dampier and Ambrose Cowley discovered the Falkland Islands.

It is 109o miles from my third location to my fourth location. I got to my fourth location by boat from a fisherman that gave me a ride. It cost me nothing because the fisherman was on his way to the Falkland Islands. Getting a ride to the islands was free. We had a layover on our trip because the fisherman kept stopping the boat to go fishing.

My travels have been fine through my four locations. The biggest difference from my last location is that it does not snow on Madagascar.

It's west coast was formed when Africa broke from Gondwana. Eventually it broke free of India forming the island. It is 7,090 miles away from Tasmania. I traveled by boat with a fisherman that gave me a ride.
